Welcome to the Second Chance
Canine Program!
In order to fulfill its Mission Statement
goals, Second Chance has developed
three types of dog training programs:
Basic Obedience, Puppy Raising and Service Dog. We are
now in the process of launching a new Prison Project in
partnership with the Federal Prison (FCC) focusing on training
dogs in Basic Obedience. Our goal is to turn shelter dogs into
well-trained and well-mannered companion animals thereby
increasing the probability for lifetime adoptions for these dogs.
We are emerging from a long hiatus and in need of volunteers
and donations. We invite you to explore our web site to learn more
